Research shows that under the current processing conditions, the surface quality defects of precision bearing steel balls are unavoidable, but their severity is not the same. For example, for a precision bearing steel ball with a severe degree of surface imperfections, the single-element vibration value is 3 dB higher than that of a steel ball with no imperfections; The vibration value is about 2 dB higher than that of a steel ball with no surface scratches. On the other hand, the steel ball with heavy surface scratches has a single-vibration value that is about 4 dB higher than the ball without scratch.


The bearing with the three kinds of heavier surface defects of the precision bearing steel ball bearing separately, their vibration noise is much higher than the bearing of the control group (bearing assembled with the steel ball that basically does not have these three surface defects) A few sub-defects, higher than 3.9 dB; with scratch defects, higher than 4.7 dB; with defects, 2.5 dB higher.
